Independence Edit

While the Central Powers was under armistice, founder Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk, took the opportunity to separate the country from the Austro-Hungarians and so the state gained its independence until the Empire finally collapses.

World War II Edit

Nazi Germany wanted to annex the Sudetenland from Czechoslovakia and so they threatened Czechoslovakia to give Sudetenland up in 1938. Czechoslovakia was later on invaded by Nazis and Hungarians so Czechoslovakia was separated into two, including the Protectorate of Bohemia and the Free State of Slovakia. Germany later lost in the Eastern Front during World War II and Czechoslovakia was once again reunited under Soviet influence afterwards.

Communist Era Edit

Czechoslovakia became communist in 1948 and was a member of the Warsaw Pact.

Democratic Era and it's Dissolution Edit

The Soviets start to lose at the Cold War and Czechoslovakia became a democratic country from 1989. In 1992, the state split into two, including the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
